Hi, I’m VENYA.

I can't say that taking photographs is what I was called to do in life, but what I can tell you is that I absolutely love doing it! I am a documentary wedding and family photographer based in Orange County, California.

Light, connection, and composition are the core values that form the foundation of my work. From there I move to capture your story in a honest and cinematic way.

I draw inspiration from authentic human connection, the beauty of the human form, and the play of natural light. I love the elegance of minimalism, the rawness of vulnerability, and the earthy tones. I look for inspiration everywhere.

I find beauty in the silliness of the mundane everyday moments. I connect with the honesty and the wonder of the life we are living and all that surrounds us.

I live in Irvine, California, with my wife Megan and our 3 kids. We are blended family of 5. Our family story has more twists and turns than a rollercoaster ride, and that's what makes it beautiful.
