Beautiful Egyptian Wedding Pictures taken at Rio Hondo by Wedgewood, Downey, CA.
The COVID restrictions were lifted here in Southern California at the end of 2021. It was nice to get out and take some photos again after a long hiatus. Sara and David reached out to book me for their engagement photos. Shortly after our session, they asked me to be their wedding photographer! I was thrilled to capture their love story; they seemed so genuinely happy together. Sara comes from a large Egyptian family, and David comes from a more traditional American background. It was heartwarming to see how well the families blended during the ceremony and reception.
They chose the beautiful Rio Hondo by Wedgewood in Downey, California, as their wedding venue. The grounds were spacious, and the ceremony's timing was perfect. As David and Sara read their vows, the iconic California sunset bathed them in a warm, orange glow. The two little flower girls were absolute stars, stealing the show with their charm. I had so much fun spending a little time with them before the ceremony.
Soon after the ceremony, the lively reception began inside the ballroom. Delicious food and drinks were plentiful, followed by lots of dancing. By the end of the night, I was so happy to have witnessed such a beautiful celebration. I captured some amazing images – here are a few of my favorites!
