Kids don’t sit still, and neither does my camera. I’m Venya, an Irvine family photographer who believes the best photos happen when you stop posing and start playing. Whether we are chasing waves at Crystal Cove or exploring the trails at Jeffrey Open Space, my goal is to document your family exactly as they are right now.

My approach is simple: I give you space to be yourselves. No stiff smiles or forced matching outfits—just genuine connection. From Newport Beach to the hills of Turtle Rock, I create timeless, cinematic portraits for families across Orange County.

III. BOOKING YOUR SESSION

Frequently Asked Questions

  • I shoot at any Southern California spot you love—local beaches (Crystal Cove, Laguna), parks (Irvine Regional Park), urban backdrops, or your own home. If you have a favorite place, let me know.

  • Most family sessions run about two hours. That gives us time for warm-ups, candid play, and a few group shots without rushing anyone.

  • Absolutely—letting your dog or favorite family heirloom join the fun makes shots more personal. Just give me a heads-up so I can plan timing.

  • Don't stress. I’ve seen it all. We aren’t aiming for perfect poses; we’re aiming for real life. If they need a break, we take a break. If they want to run, we run. Some of the best photos happen when we let go of the script.

  • You’ll receive a full gallery of 40–80 high-resolution images. I don’t gatekeep the good ones—if it’s a great shot, it’s in your gallery, edited and ready to print.
