Irvine Wedding & Family Photography FAQ | Venya Manzyuk
FAQ
Everything You Need To Know, All In One Place.
Whether you're booking a wedding, family session, or portraits, the same questions tend to come up. This FAQ covers the basics—how booking works, how many images you’ll get, when to expect them, and a few practical tips to make things easier if you’re planning a session in Irvine or anywhere across Orange County.
-
Most sessions are delivered within 2–3 weeks. Weddings take a little longer—usually 4 to 6 weeks depending on the season. Everything is delivered through an online gallery with high-resolution, ready-to-download images. No watermarks, no weird file types, and no extra hoops to jump through.
-
Weddings typically come out to 500–800 finished photos. Family sessions usually land around 40 to 80. I don’t set a hard cap—if it’s good, it’s in. Every gallery is curated, edited by me, and delivered with the same care I’d want if the roles were reversed.
-
Yes—while most of my work is in Irvine and surrounding Orange County spots, I also regularly shoot in San Diego, Los Angeles, and Temecula. If it’s a bit farther, I’ll walk you through travel rates and logistics before you book.
-
Keep it simple and comfortable. Neutrals and earth tones work great in most settings, but if you're not sure, I’ll send a prep guide once you're booked. For families or groups, coordinated—not matching—looks best. And shoes matter more than most people think.
-
Just head over to the inquiry page and fill it out. I’ll follow up within 24 hours with availability and next steps. Once we lock in the date, I’ll send over a contract and invoice to make it official. Easy as that.
-
Yes. You’ll have full print rights, so you can use any lab you like—or order prints directly from your gallery if you want something quick and easy. Albums are available too if you're looking for something more polished.
-
If it’s looking like rain or heavy wind, we’ll keep in touch and reschedule if needed. Cloudy skies are totally fine—some of my favorite sessions happened under overcast light. I keep the tone relaxed and flexible either way.
-
Always. If you’re not sure where to shoot, I’ll give you a few options based on lighting, time of year, and who’s in the photos. From local trails in Irvine to beach spots like Laguna or San Clemente, I’ve got plenty of go-to locations that photograph well and aren’t too crowded.
