Wedding Photography FAQ for Irvine & Orange County Couples

 FAQ

Everything You Need To Know, All In One Place.

Weddings come with a lot of moving parts—and plenty of questions. This FAQ walks through what couples typically ask when booking an Irvine wedding photographer: how coverage works, what’s included, when galleries are ready, and how I help you prep ahead of time.

WEDDINGS

  • Yes—absolutely. I’ll send you a full gallery from a recent wedding that’s similar in location or style to yours. It’s the best way to get a feel for how I document the full day, not just the highlights. Every gallery is delivered in high-res and includes everything from prep through reception.

  • I take on no more than 15 weddings per year. That lets me give each couple the attention their day deserves—from planning help to fast, consistent edits after the wedding. If you’re planning a date in peak season (spring or fall), I recommend reaching out early to lock it in.

  • If your wedding is outside Irvine or Orange County, I’ll include a flat travel fee in the quote—nothing hidden, no nickel-and-diming. I’ll handle my own lodging and logistics so you don’t have to coordinate anything on your end.

  • Yes. I’m not just showing up with a camera. I help map out timelines, suggest locations for portraits, flag potential bottlenecks, and keep things running smooth day-of. Once you’re booked, I’m in your corner through the entire planning process.

  • Yes. I carry full liability coverage, and I’m happy to send a certificate if your venue requires one. Most venues do, so this is a pretty standard part of the process.

  • That depends on your timeline, guest count, and how much coverage you’re looking for. For most weddings under 150 people with a first look, one photographer is enough. If you’re planning a multi-location day or skipping the first look, we can bring in a second shooter to make sure nothing gets missed.

  • Yes—and please do. About 2–3 weeks before the wedding, I’ll send you a questionnaire where you can list out your must-have family combinations. I’ll use that as a reference so we move through those groupings efficiently and don’t miss anyone important.

  • You’ll get your full wedding gallery in about 4–6 weeks. I personally edit every photo to keep things consistent and true to how the day felt. If I can deliver sooner, I do—but I never rush the process just to hit a number.
