Laguna Beach Couples Photographer – Britt & Joey

BRITT & JOEY’S LAGUNA BEACH COUPLES SESSION

Couple in love holding hands and wading in the ocean at sunset in Laguna Beach.

We shot Britt and Joey’s couples session in Laguna Beach on one of those days where everything lined up perfectly—light, tide, and pace. No strict posing, no awkward energy. Just a walk along the beach, some easy laughter, and a handful of real, genuine moments. If you're looking for natural, relaxed photos near Irvine with a lifestyle feel, this beach never misses. Why Laguna Beach Is One of My Go-To Spots for Couples Photos

EASY PARKING OPTIONS NEAR MAIN BEACH

Parking in Laguna can be a pain, but Main Beach is one of the easier spots. There’s metered parking along PCH and a couple of city lots nearby if you don’t mind a short walk. Best move: get there 30 minutes early and bring a card—most spots are paid. If you’re planning a session, you can see what’s included and how I structure couples shoots here.

LATE LIGHT THAT MAKES THE SESSION

Late afternoon is the move here. The way the sun drops behind the cliffs gives everything this warm, even light—no harsh shadows, no overexposed skies. It keeps things easy and gives the whole session a calm, natural feel without needing to chase the light around.

STARTING DOWNTOWN SETS THE TONE

We kicked things off downtown, near the coffee spots and little storefronts before heading to the sand. It’s a good way to ease into the session—less wind, more texture, and a laid-back vibe that helps people relax fast. Plus, the mix of streets and light adds variety without needing a second location.

Session Details & Pricing

Every couples session is built around movement and comfort. We spend about 60 to 90 minutes shooting in one location, with one outfit — no pressure to rush, no need to overthink it. You’ll get a full gallery of hand-edited images delivered in high resolution, with no watermarking or download limits. Everything’s included so you’re not stuck choosing between ten “favorites” — if it’s good, you get it.

I. WHAT’S INCLUDED

The session is $600 flat. That includes everything — planning, the shoot itself, editing, and full gallery delivery. There are no upgrade traps, no surprise charges, and no limits on how many photos you get back. I don’t believe in making you choose between “packages” or locking your favorites behind a paywall. You book it, we shoot it, and you get the full story.

II. SIMPLE PRICING

Turnaround is usually 2 to 3 weeks, depending on the time of year. You’ll get an email with a private gallery link — easy to download, share, or send to family. Everything is edited in-house with care and consistency. You won’t need to log into anything weird or fight through watermarked previews. Just your photos, ready to use however you want.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Nope — not for this kind of session. I shoot low-profile, move around naturally, and keep things simple. No lights, no setups, no tripods. We stick to public areas and don’t draw attention, so there’s never been an issue.

  • You can, but I usually recommend sticking to one. With how much we move and the natural pace of the session, outfit changes tend to interrupt the flow. One solid look you’re comfortable in will go further than two rushed ones.

  • Laguna’s weather is usually solid, but if we get hit with fog, wind, or rain that messes with the session, we’ll reschedule. No fee, no hassle. I’d rather wait for the right day than force something that won’t work.
