Quinceañera Photography in Garden Grove – Venya Manzyuk, Orange County Photographer
NATALIE’S QUINCEAÑERA STORY FROM GARDEN GROVE
Natalie’s quinceañera took place on a warm spring weekend in Garden Grove. We started the day at St. Columban Church for a traditional mass, surrounded by close family and friends. After the ceremony, we took a few minutes for portraits before heading to the reception. From quiet moments with her parents to the packed dance floor later that night, the whole day felt meaningful without being overdone. If you're planning a celebration of your own, you can take a look at my investment details here.
From Ceremony to Celebration
THE CHURCH CEREMONY
We started the day at St. Columban in Garden Grove. The light inside was clean, and Natalie walked in holding her dad’s arm, totally calm. The ceremony felt quiet and personal — no big production, just family, tradition, and a few emotional moments. I kept my distance and let things play out without interfering.
FAMILY PORTRAITS
Right after the ceremony, we grabbed a few quick shots outside the church, then made our way to a park nearby for the full court photos. The lighting was good, and everyone looked sharp. We didn’t overthink it — just moved through each setup fast so Natalie could get to the party. Nothing forced, nothing stiff.
THE GRAND RECEPTION
The reception had everything. A big entrance, speeches, the father-daughter dance — and then the dance floor just stayed full. People were into it. It never felt like anyone was waiting for the next thing to happen. The energy stayed up, and Natalie looked like she was having the time of her life. If you’re looking for more examples, I’ve shared other event stories here that give a feel for how I approach different sessions.
Session Details & Pricing
Most quinceañeras I photograph include coverage of the ceremony, portraits with family and the court, and the main events at the reception — entrances, dances, speeches, and anything else that unfolds along the way. If you’ve got a special tradition planned or want to make time for extra portraits, we can always build that in.
I. WHAT’S INCLUDED
Quinceañera coverage starts at $1,500. That includes a full online gallery with high-resolution images and personal usage rights. I don’t upsell prints or packages — what you see is what you get.
II. INVESTMENT INFO
I only take on a handful of quinceañeras each season, so once a weekend’s booked, it’s gone. If you’ve got a date in mind, the best move is to reach out early. Even if you’re still finalizing the details, we can get the conversation going and make sure it’s on the calendar.
