Aliso Niguel High School Senior Photographer – SJC Train Station Session
LETTERMAN JACKETS & COWBOY BOOTS IN SJC
Senior portraits are about more than just a nice smile; they are about documenting a milestone. For Taylor, a senior at Aliso Niguel High School, we wanted a session that blended her personal style with her school achievements. We chose the San Juan Capistrano Train Station for its rustic textures, which paired perfectly with her cowboy boots and white skirt. Later, we incorporated her letterman jacket and Stanford University pennant to celebrate her next chapter.
Capturing Every Side of Senior Year
RUSTIC WESTERN STYLE
San Juan Capistrano is the equestrian heart of Orange County, making it the perfect backdrop for a "Western Chic" look. Taylor’s choice of white cowboy boots and a flowy skirt paired effortlessly with the historic train depot’s wood beams and railway tracks. It gave her solo portraits a relaxed, California-country vibe that feels timeless rather than trendy.
Senior portraits shouldn't just be about fashion; they should celebrate your accomplishments. We made sure to include Taylor’s Aliso Niguel High School letterman jacket in the second half of the session. The neutral brick walls of the station allowed her varsity patch and school colors to pop, documenting her hard work and school spirit without the background fighting for attention.

THE COLLEGE REVEAL
The end of the session was all about the future. Incorporating her Stanford University pennant was the perfect way to announce her acceptance. Whether it’s a flag, a sweatshirt, or confetti, bringing a prop that represents your next chapter turns a standard portrait session into a celebration of where you are going next.

I recommend 2-3 looks. Start with something timeless (like Taylor’s skirt and boots), then switch to something that represents your school (letterman jacket/uniform), and finish with a casual outfit.

Yes, I work with seniors from all the local South OC high schools. I know the yearbook deadlines and vibe for each school, so we can tailor the session to fit your style.
